The sun is still shining and after working in the veg garden , sowing carrots , watering everything in the potting shed and checking on the Tomatoes , doing the laundry and hanging it all out on the line and cooking lunch ,and a few other things , I decided to put my feet up in the Summerhouse and do my embroidery .
The sun was so bright and cast dark shadows over my work . So I,m afraid my photos are not too good , but I am not going to complain about the lovely sunshine !
Goodness me ! It is so good to feel the warmth of the sun . There is a slight chilly breeze , but in the Summer House it is quite hot !
Continuing with my Halley's Comet from the Bayeux Tapestry .
By the way.....
I was feeling quite anxious yesterday , about everything in the news ,which was why I did that little "Peace...Be Still " piece in my last post . I just embroidered it quite freely , it was just a calming little doodle , not intended to be perfect or anything . Just a calming little affirmation and perhaps a prayer .
I feel better today !
Enjoying doing this again .
