The Flower of the Fal Schooner Embroidery - update - Red Rosebuds

 

                            Embroidered those Rosebuds .

Embroidered her name in red . Thought it would look better with the letters outlined in cream but it looked too ..fairground/circus...so I unpicked it ......

       ........and did it again in old gold , which to begin with I thought looked great , but on second thoughts ... too Superman !

So then that had to come out  .

All of this and the hot weather gave me quite a headache .

So we decided to put it aside for a little while and come back to it tomorrow .

 

       I am pleased with the rosebuds and will enjoy embroidering the pretty green leaves at a more leisurely pace .
