I almost finished embroidering the vielle , but to make a good job of it I need to find some really, really fine silk thread for the strings . So I decided to finish it after doing the golden halo .
Doing it very carefully by couching down this gorgeous gold thread with a very slippery , pale golden yellow silk thread . I used the lasso method for pulling the ends through for the first two tails and a stiletto tool ,very, very nerve-wracking second time round .
