Angel Playing a Rebec Embroidery - Wings 🤍🌿

                  So time to pause and have a little recap  .

 

            I worked some fairly loose stitching over most of the white areas .

I'm not sure yet whether to stitch the folds of the Angel's robes vertically or horizontally .  I had originally thought to embroider them vertically but now I have done the under layer , I'm thinking that I quite like it that way ....hmmm.....I'm reviewing the situation 🎵🎶🎶I think I'd better think it out again !

But for now , I'm stitching those beautiful wings . Did you think I was going to leave them like that ?! 

I suppose I could have done them like that ....over and over satin stitch ....would have been a quicker way of doing it . 

           But nope I decided to make them more feather-like .....

                                One feather at a time .

The wings of this Angel are fantastic ; going from the left side , sweeping down above the Angel's head , around to the right side , behind and below the rebec .

I have almost finished the Angel's wings and am thinking where to go next ?
