Anyone else thinking about going into hibernation ? We survived the storm as far I can see .The electricity went on and off ....some areas are still off around Cornwall .Power lines down and trees fallen across roads .The cowl on top of the chimney pot is a bit damaged and will be replaced by our sweep next week and the garden shed needs a bit of attention , but nothing too drastic .
We are tired from being awake most of the night worrying and listening to the wind rattling the tiles on the roof and rain .
It is still raining this morning . 🌧️🌧️🌧️
A bedraggled sight we were going into church in dripping wet kagoules and wellington boots ! ⛪🌧️
Glad to be home and snuggled up, sitting on my bed with my sewing basket full of patchwork scraps .
Maybe a cushion , maybe a bag , maybe a quilt for my kitchen chair . I'll just keep going and see where I end up .
I've made up two log cabin blocks so far . Stitching by hand . It's a comforting thing to do on a miserable day like today .
It'll be mostly green and red ...... unless I change my mind ... 🤔.... 😃.... 💛
Peace and Love 🕊️🪷🤍
love Debbie 💐x
