I'm using lovely silk thread from The Silk Mill 🤍 Hands sore and chapped from gardening 🌿🌱🐝🐞Silk threads catching on chapped hands sets my teeth on edge ! Need to moisturise . Probably would have been easier to stitch with DMC cotton threads .

I know what you mean about chapped hands from gardening I am a knitter and gardener and the yarn always seems to find the roughest part of my hands and fingers. Here in Nottinghamshire I am only just starting to sow my seeds Jane
ReplyDeleteHello Jane , 💐 We saw several Swallows yesterday .So Spring is on her way and there is no turning back . I think there is rain forecast for the weekend . I'll be moving my tomato plants from the bench in the shed into the greenhouse and then having made a bit more space in the shed , I will start sowing the next wave of vegetable seeds .🌱🌱🌱 I do love getting my hands into the good earth though . I have a big pot of Neutrogena cream at the ready ! I will make time to do a little stitching too , it's very calming .I'll do an update soon ! hugs Debbie x
