Robin and me

A combination of it being a very busy time of getting my vegetable garden going again and also of not being well for a while .

I was carrying my needlework basket around with me everywhere we went , but just had no time at all to squeeze in any stitching .

I have had a couple of birds that have become quite tame and who would fly in for seeds and nuts . The Jackdaw who strangely visited every morning at around ten o'clock  , the blackbirds who come to me for grapes and a couple of Robins who love biscuit crumbs or suet pellets .

The Robins are very familiar with me ,always watching as I turn the earth in my garden , and hopping about my feet .

During the recent  coldest weather , one of the Robins has been coming to my hands for crumbs .

My heart almost stops as he flies in to me . He is the sweetest little soul in the garden . With the sweetest song πŸŽΆπŸŽ΅πŸŽΆπŸŽΆπŸ’šπŸŒΏ

I did a little scribbly pencil sketch of him and later on I thought I might embroider it .

I'm still not sure whether to use crewel wool , cotton or silk . . . or even to just leave it as it is .

I made a little start . . . but . . .

I'm still thinking about it .

         πŸ’☀️πŸ•Š️     Happy Spring to everyone . .

or maybe it is Happy Autumn for some down under 🍁❄️πŸ‚πŸŒ™

Whatever it is for you , be inspired !
