🐬Thou shalt have a fishy - embroidery with wool ⚓

 

I'm back ! After over a month of not being able to push a needle through cloth , the poorly finger is at last healed .

..and now I really want to get on and finish this little maritime piece  .

Stitching on a remnant of quite a loose weave linen ,with crewel wool , I had originally thought that I would only do the outline and make it rather like a tattoo ; but as I settle back into the relaxing rhythm of mostly simple stem stitch , I'm thinking maybe I will fill it all in after all .
