Well here I am still dithering over which shade to embroider the Angel's robes .
The perfect shade would be the DMC cotton 976 but I want to do this in silk threads and I don't have a match with The Silk Mill skeins and unfortunately they are temporarily closed ....so next best are the two silks on spools , no idea what make they are nor how much is on them and the lightest skein is a lovely Silk Mill "golden maize".
I wasn't going to blend them being only a small piece , but now I'm thinking maybe I will after all . By "blend" I mean shade stitch . If I do that then I might have enough thread .
but then .... I might change my mind ! 😊🌿🕊️ x
