Little Cloth Book Cottage

 
I embroidered this last year .  It is our little Cornish cottage where we have been happy for many years .

 I thought I might embroider it again , for a page in my little cloth book .

 I sketched it onto the cloth with a pencil and this time I am using my favourite Appleton's crewel wool .

I am terrible for always trying to put too much detail in to my pictures. I need this to be much simpler , because it is so much smaller than my original embroidered picture .

I am showing off this sweet little padded purse that I found on Ebay Uk from "madebyjerryiow" it is perfect for my little embroidery scissors .
 I can thread a ribbon  through the ring and wear it as a pendant around my neck , so they are always close to hand and I wont get stabbed by their sharp points .
                  I love the bee so much too !
